If you live in a smaller city, then check out some of the local farmers markets. I know that sounds like a strange place to look, but trust me when I say that many people at farmers markets also know people that work in textile industries. Often times, you can find really great new materials that way at a fantastic price.
Now consider how you want to design the room with your titles or wood floor. If you want to create a design that is unique to the materials, then really think about it. Draw on a piece of paper with a pencil first. Then you can begin to design the floor by laying out the titles and entering all the measurements so that you have an idea where everything goes before you begin.
Once you have the design plans, you need to make sure that you have the proper materials for installing the titles or the wood floor. The best place to find this is to visit Home Depot or some other home decor store. There are specialists in this line of work in those departments that contain a specific sort of adhesive that your tile or wood floor requires.
Get that and head home to finish installing the flooring. Once you are done, you can step back and admire the work that you have done with this decor for floor projects. It is fun and makes you proud when you do it for yourself.
